Birthplace: Hoorn, Netherlands
Resides in: Almere, Netherlands
Also known as HarryDeBeng, this young Dutchman went pro in 2006 at the age of 19. Weusten decided to put his education on hold when he turned 18 after dabbling with online poker. He found himself enjoying the game more and more, which made the decision to play full-time an easy one.
Weusten made a name for himself online by repeatedly depositing $50 at a time, earning tens of thousands of dollars, and losing it over and over within a matter of days. He was also one of the first Dutch players to take on the likes of Phil Ivey and David Benyamine in the legendary $500-$1,000 online games.
In 2008 he traveled to Las Vegas to participate in the World Series of Poker, going deep and cashing in two events; the $1,500 no-limit hold's Event #32 in which he placed 34th, and the $5,000 no-limit hold's six-handed Event #46, where he placed 32nd. Later that year he traveled to Spain to participate in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Open Main Event where he placed 18th. His young legacy began with three major cashes in one year. Weusten returned to his homeland to compete online, cementing his reputation as a fierce online competitor.
When asked he chose to join Team Victory he answered, “I chose to join Team Victory because I respect everyone involved and they are cool people with a great 'state of mind' who take this project very serious. I love being a part of that."
